Some might say our classic Oxford lacks the charm of its newer colleagues in our collection, but around here, we like to keep our history close. Handsewn, hand-lasted, and hand-bottomed, the Oxford is as sturdy and comfortable as anything in our offerings.

The hand-sewn stitchdown construction type is the lynchpin of our history, a process passed down from bootmaker to bootmaker since the beginning, way back in 1853. When hand-sewing a boot, our master bootmakers painstakingly last, welt, and bottom it by hand. Hand-lasting ensures a customized flt, hand-welting a durable and water-resistant seam, and hand bottoming an all-leather arch that becomes more comfortable by the day.
