HOW DO I PLACE A CUSTOM MADE-TO-ORDER BOOT?

CAN I CANCEL A MADE-TO-ORDER OR "BACKORDER" STATUS PURCHASE?
Once a Made-to-Order or "backorder" boot reaches the production floor, this purchase can no longer be cancelled. This kind of commitment to your purchase is inherent to the special handmade nature of how we produce boots here at White's.
We encourage customers to reach out to our experienced customer service team to field any questions regarding sizing, fit, performance, etc. so that all purchases can be made in confidence. Please review your order carefully before finalizing.
However, cancelations can be considered for Made-To-Order styles on a case-by-case basis, if our customer service team is contacted shortly after the order has been placed.
CAN CHANGES BE MADE TO AN ORDER THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PLACED?
Unfortunately, we are not able to make any amendments to your order that would affect the total cost of that order- ie. add items, remove items, replace items, or change shipping preference. However, if by chance you placed an order for the wrong size by mistake, please contact our customer service department within 24 hours after placing your order and the size can be changed as long as the product/style of boot, and leather, remains the same.
With this in mind, we encourage customers to reach out prior to ordering and allow our customer service team help field any questions about size, customization, performance, etc. so that all purchases can be made in confidence.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BACKORDERED, CLOSEOUT, AND DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS?
Backordered – Specific styles will show an estimated lead time for certain sizes, which can range from 4 to 20+ weeks. Lead times will fluctuate throughout the year and can change based on many factors. All Backordered items can be added to your cart and purchased.
Closeout/Discontinued – If you are shopping in our sale/closeout section or you come across a style that has a discounted price, that style is likely discontinued. If your size shows “Out of Stock” on a discounted style, it is likely discontinued and will not be re-stocked.

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING LEAD TIMES FOR IN-STOCK PRODUCTS?
For in stock product, please allow 2-4 business days for your order to be packed and shipped out from our Distribution Center. Be aware that it may take upwards of 4 business days to receive tracking information. Transit times may vary based on courier and seasonal delays. We thank you for your patience!
SHOULD I SEND IN MY MEASUREMENTS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER?
If you’re a first-time buyer with us, we do recommend completing a Measurement Guide that is found in our annual catalog. Follow the instructions carefully and mail the guide back to our team. A representative will contact you once your measurements are reviewed and a size is determined.
Our online Fitting Guide is a great way to determine whether your measurements fall within our stock sizing chart. If your measurements fall outside of our stock sizing, we recommend completing a physical measurement form found in our catalog.
