4811
The 4811 is the most historic last in our collection. In 1926, it was trademarked as one of the original Arch-Ease™ lasts. It features a Medium-High logger arch, height and width in the toe box and a form fitting heel needed for mobility and security in the forests. After WW2, it earned the reputation as the Smokejumper Last from the wildland firefighters who put it on the map.
Shop 4811 Boots55
The 55 rivals the 4811 as the most requested last in our Arch-Ease™ collection. Developed in the early 1930s, it features a Medium arch, medium height and width in the toe box, and accommodates the shape of most feet. The break-in period is minimal and the comfort is immediate for those who work on their feet all day. Before leaving the shop, our fitters recommended that everyone tries the 55.
Shop 55 Boots5050
The 5050 is the latest addition to our Arch-Ease™ collection. Ideal as a dress boot last, it combines elements of the 55 arch and the MP shape. It features a Medium arch, shallower toe box, and lends a more sophisticated look without sacrificing arch support and the continuous comfort needed while standing and walking on hard surfaces. The look and feel are perfect.
Shop 5050 BootsMP Last
Designed to accommodate the launch of our MP boots several years ago, the MP is the first dress boot last in our collection. It features a Low arch, a toe box that is shallower and narrower than our traditional work boot lasts, and gives a sleeker overall shape to the silhouette. The MP design took inspiration from the Barrie last and is best suited for feet that require less height in the arch.
Shop MP Boots690
The 690 is one of the oldest lasts in our Arch-Ease™ collection. Used for mining and logging boots, it features a High logger arch, height and width in the toe box, and underslung heel for added support from the ground up. It was perfected as the Packer Arch after Otto designed a boot for USFS mule packers during a time when Forest Service roads were still trails.
Shop 690 Boots695
Known as the Thoroughbred Last, the 695 is a High cowboy arch, the highest in our collection. It features a narrow toe box, pointed toe, and has the traditional 2 inches of height to avoid slipping in the stirrup. Designed as an Arch-Ease™ last in the 1980s, it found immediate popularity among male and female riders across the Pacific Northwest.
Shop 695 BootsC461
The C461 is a sprung toe last with a Medium arch. The Buffalo Shoe Company originally designed it to help loggers avoid getting snared by branches while bucking logs and walking through dense forest understories. Unique to our Arch-Ease™ lasts, it features a sharp upturn at the ball of the foot, a shallower toe box, and a similar arch to the 55, perfect for most feet.
Shop C461 Boots9338
The 9338 was originally designed for feet that have issues with their 5th metatarsal. The toe box is very roomy and that extends to the outside ball area. It features slightly less arch than our 55 last. If you have trouble fitting in normal footwear, ask us about this last. You will immediately notice the custom comfort.
Shop 9338Northwest Last
The Northwest Last is built for superior off the shelf comfort. Deeper in the toe-box, and slightly wider in the ball and heel than the 55 last, it also provides the lowest arch of any last in our offerings. This low arch makes it tremendously easy to break in, a fact which we emphasize frequently by pairing this last with soft, flexible Cristy Crepe soles. For those looking for a weekend work boot, the search ends with our Northwest Lasted boots – tough as anything in our collection, and comfortable as a pair of beat-in slippers.
Shop NW Boots54
The 54 Last is used exclusively in our retro Oxford style boots. This last features a flatter arch than our normal lasts and its shallow through the toe box. The ball area has an average width. A true heritage fan will love this traditional last.
Shop 54 Boots1970
Our widest last through the ball area, the 1970 Arch-Ease® Last falls between the 4811 and the Northwest Last in arch height. Used in our motorcycle line of boots, the 1970 last cuts an old school, snub nosed figure, ideal for toeing bar stools and shift levers alike.
Shop 1970 Boots2505
What’s the easiest way to make a great fitting motorcycle boot? Take our best fitting, high arch 4811 last and cut the toe off square. That’s exactly what we did while developing this last. A rough and rugged square toe look with the arch support that is true to the White’s reputation.
Shop 2505 Boots610
A close sibling of our Northwest Last, the 610 combines a flat arch with a deep and wide toe-box to offer a sturdy, roughcut look, and a minimal break-in period. Developed for our line of Foreman work boots, this last quickly became a favorite among employees and customers alike.
Shop 610 Boots1972
The 1972 Last design was based off the 610 Last. The 1972 combines a flat arch and more toe volume. Developed for an easy break-in period and to have the traditional moc toe look and fit. Whether used for work, casual wear, or riding on the weekends, this last was made for everyone’s style.
Shop 1972 BootsW4811
Our women’s version of the traditional 4811 Smokejumper last. We have taken the time to ensure a great fit for our hardworking women. We narrowed up the heel and ball for a snug fit, but kept the high arch of the original 4811. If you’re fed up with downsizing a men’s boot and not getting the right fit, ladies, try this last and you’ll quickly realize why so many wildland firefighters can’t get away from this last.
Shop W4811 BootsW895
