The best workwear in the Pacific Northwest requires versatility on the job. Aside from building boots for specialized trades, such as smokejumpers, lineman, and loggers, our goal is to build the best work boots for every trade at any price. The history of White’s Boots is marked by outfitting workers who get paid to stand, walk, and work all day long.
After taking inspiration from the leather upper design of our Fire Hybrid—a boot that received high marks for standards in comfort—we designed the Hillyard as a more affordable boot for day-to-day work and serviceability. It’s designed for just about anything and made right here in our Spokane factory.
The Hillyard is built on the 610 Last, which means there is a minimal break-in period. It provides more immediate comfort out of the box. Combining the lower arch with our Ortholite® cushioned footbed provides a comfortable fit for most feet. The full grain leather upper, both flexible and durable, provides optimal comfort and protection around the ankle and up the calf, including a padded collar for greater lateral movement on the job. The hooks on the upper also make it easy to lace up and take it off at the end of the day.
All the specs we put into the Hillyard—full grain leather upper, unit lug sole, and Goodyear Welt construction—are there to provide utility. You can expect years of serviceability by properly treating the leather and taking advantage of our repair and resoling services. For all you builders, fabricators, pipefitters, machinists, factory workers, and anyone else who needs a work boot for all kinds of jobs, visit our product page to purchase your pair of the Hillyard.
