While the dressier silhouette is perfect for your evening occasion, don’t be fooled. This boot is built tough to last.

Fit Guide

White's boot lasts run large. This means most people should take a half size down from their natural shoe size, or Brannock measurement. On our highest arched lasts, a full size may be necessary, as the arch support shortens the overall length of the foot during wear.

Last Guide

By popular demand, we have developed the 5050 Last for the White’s customer who seeks comfort provided by the traditional arch found in our other lasts, but also desires a more sleek toe shape found in most dress boots. From just behind the ball of the foot, toward the heel, the last is the same shape, fit and arch height as our well known 55 last. From behind the ball and toward the toes, the last has the same fit and toe shape as our MP last which was loosely designed off the Barrie Dress shoe last. We believe the blend of these two characteristics has created a last that will provide a style and comfort experience found nowhere else.

All our boots can be customized to suit your preferences. For more information, please call our order department at 800-541-3786.

The hand-sewn stitchdown construction type is the lynchpin of our history, a process passed down from bootmaker to bootmaker since the beginning, way back in 1853. When hand-sewing a boot, our master bootmakers painstakingly last, welt, and bottom it by hand. Hand-lasting ensures a customized fit, hand-welting a durable and water resistant seam, and hand bottoming an all-leather arch that becomes more comfortable by the day.

Buying a White’s hand-sewn stitchdown boot is stepping into a long history of craft, dedication, and old-world quality that is increasingly rare, and enduringly valuable.
Work hard; wear White's.
